From Sunday 3rd to Thursday 14th August highway maintenance is being undertaken which will affect the listed services between 7pm and Midnight on Sundays-Fridays and between 5pm and Midnight on Saturdays. During this period the stops below will not be served. The diversion route will instead use Walton Road, Hunloke Avenue, Boythorpe Road and West Bars.

From Monday 28th July to Wednesday 6th August roadworks are being carried out in Shirland by National Grid Telecoms.
During this period the Stagecoach 143/143a will not serve Westhouses or Blackwell (affected stops listed below). Service 143/143a will instead divert via the B6019 and the A38 in both directions until works are completed:

From Sunday 27th July National Grid are carrying out electrical works in Alfreton Town Centre. As a result, bus services which normally start and terminate at the bus station will be using temporary stops located around the Town Centre.

Due to the B5470 road collapsing between Rainow and Kettleshulme an emergency timetable has been introduced. The majority of journeys have been curtailed to operate between Macclesfield and Rainow only, or between Kettleshulme and Hayfield only.
There are a limited number of through journeys between Macclesfield and Hayfield, which are diverted between Whaley Bridge (Horwich End) and Macclesfield via the Cat & Fiddle and Long Hill, with increased journey times as a result.
All journeys will operate as service 60. The Stoneheads Estate in Whaley Bridge will continue to be served on a reduced basis. Please see the emergency timetable for full details.
